This version of my “In Awe of Mt. Whitney” ring was completed in November of 2025 specifically to be entered into the Mary S Oakley- Lee Lindsay Area Artist Showcase, which is a juried art exhibit of the areas top creative artists and artisans. The 2025 show was the largest exhibition of art in decades and had over 400 artists submit their works, of which around 140 artists were accepted, including this ring! This was my third year of having my work accepted into this annual event, which is an honor in and of itself. The talent here is very potent and diverse, which drives my passion, but also inspires me to build community around that. I picked this ring for that show because it is one of my best mountain ring designs in how I was able to capture the likeness of the place so convincingly!
